Overview
At JMA, we are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in our governance, operations, and decision-making. In accordance with Texas law (Local Gov’t Code §176) and Texas Education Code §12.1051, our school posts all applicable conflict of interest disclosures to ensure transparency and accountability.
Who Must Disclose
The following individuals are required to complete and submit conflict disclosure forms:

Governing Board Members

Superintendent and Senior Administrative Officers

Employees with authority to approve contracts or expenditures

Vendors doing business with the school valued at $1,000 or more annually
What is a Conflict of Interest?
A conflict of interest occurs when a school official, or their immediate family, has a financial or personal interest in a business or entity that may benefit from a contract or decision made by the school. Conflicts may include:

Ownership in a vendor company

Family relationships with vendors or contractors

Receiving gifts, benefits, or employment offers from vendors

1. Conflict of Interest Questionnaire
For vendors or service providers doing business with the school.
