DRESS CODE

The dress code is strictly enforced beginning the first day of school. Any student wearing attire deemed improper for Jean Massieu Academy will be asked to change or will be temporality loaned a shirt for that day.

First offense:

Students will not allowed to attend class. Parents will be called to bring appropriate clothes for the student.

PANTS

Docker, cargo or denim type

Navy blue, tan, black, white, dark green or cream
Pleated or plain front
Regular cut, NO wide legs
Worn at natural waistline
No side stripes or any designs

SHORTS - SOLID COLORS ONLY

Docker, cargo or denim type

Navy blue, tan, black, white, dark green or cream
Pleated or plain front
Regular cut, NO wide legs
Worn at natural waistline
Must be hemmed with length guidelines
Gym shorts ONLY for PE class
(NO SHORT SHORTS, must be halfway between fingertips and tops of knees)

SHOES

Any closed toe shoes (NO SANDALS)

SOCKS

Any color that complement the outfit

HOSIERY

Solid navy blue, white, black or flesh tone hose or tights

PLEATED SKIRTS & SKORTS

Navy blue, tan, black, white, dark green or cream (same length guidelines as shorts)
(NO SHORT SKIRTS, must be halfway between fingertips and tops of knees)

JUMPERS

Navy blue, tan black, white dark green or cream; A-line and scoop neck

SOLID SHIRTS

Buy at any Store
Navy blue, hunter green or white T-shirt or Polo shirt
NO OTHER SHIRTS ARE ALLOWED

SWEATERS

Navy blue, white, black, cream, or green solid colors; long sleeved or vest-style

BELTS

Optional: if worn, shall be solid navy, black or brown.

Hats, Caps, Scarves

Not to be worn indoors

Earrings

May be worn by female students in ears only. Male students may NOT wear earrings.

Only One T-Shirt under the uniform shirt.
(White, Blue, or Green, No Stripes or Flowery)

FIELD TRIPS - Navy blue polo shirts are required.

Dress code is in effect Monday through Fridays - No casual wear days.
Students are expected to Be dressed neatly and cleanly at all times.
