Educational Excellence

The goal of Jean Massieu Academy is to promote educational excellence for children from early childhood through Grade 12 using innovative teaching models. The academy was originally founded to serve deaf students throughout the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex. As an open-enrollment charter school, JMA now serves over 175 students, approximately 10% of which are deaf or hard of hearing. English is the primary language of instruction with American Sign Language provided for the deaf population and as second language acquisition for hearing students. JMA is proud to provide small class sizes, highly qualified teachers, and individualized education through bilingual / bicultural communication.

Jean Massieu Academy is currently accepting admissions applications for students in grades PreK-12th grade for the 2013-2014 school year.
